Don’s art is his therapy and emotional outlet. His work addresses the facades we all wear in order to cope with the stressors of daily life.
Don Somppi is an artist and teacher based out of Portland, Oregon. He has studied under John Rock, Master Printmaker and has been producing Linocut prints since 1975. He has carved over 400 blocks and participated in Juried Shows, One Person Gallery Exhibits, and various group exhibits. He has been published in Perceptions Magazine of the Arts, If you'd Like to Hear it I Can Sing it For You, and Willamette Week.
